The topics covered in the correspondence are wide ranging but usually relate to the newspaper business; included is material on Capper Publications, the Associated Press in Kansas, the Kansas Press Association, the Newton Publishing Company, Stauffer Publications, and the Topeka State Journal Company. Other topics include the Kansas State Historical Society and KSEK Broadcasting Company. Several special subjects have their own folder: the U.S. Highway 69 Association, the Kansas Civil War Centennial Commission, the Republican Party and the accompanying National Convention held in 1928 at Kansas City, as well as the southeastern Kansas economy.
